Favorite dress designer = Adrianna Papell

From daywear dresses to evening wear dresses, I have fallen in love with Adrianna Papell.

I can't stress her daywear dresses enough! Clients that come into our showroom like to wear her daywear dresses for on-air appearances, including interviews. Her daywear dresses can also be seen often on Good Morning America, as well as Kathy and Hoda on the Today show.

  Gorgeous color that would look great for my on-air clients. Shutter pleated dresses tend to flatter the figure. I have worn similar style dresses by AP, so I know this one will be very flattering, as are all Adrianna Papell dresses.

Old Favorite, Current Trend

Overalls Summer 2015

 One of my childhood favorites has made a comeback this past season and I have to say that I love it. The main reason I like overalls, aka shortalls, these days is simple: it's hard to find a pair of shorts that fit normal, especially if you are decently tall or have long legs. For me, overalls are a way to wear shorts without having any issues of the shorts riding up too high or fitting too short. They are casual yet cute, and there are many ways to style them!

Holy Outfit!

I don't post very much on here lately, but I had to share this picture I saw of Chrissy Teigen.

I love everything about this outfit, but I am mostly dying to know who makes the cardigan + pants. If anyone happens to know, please leave it in the comments! Such a chic, cool look. I do adore her and her style, but this look is my absolute favorite.

I will not rest well until I find out the designer of the cardigan and pants...and where I can find something similar!

Top Knot

The top knot is adorable and also convenient when you don't feel like messing with your hair.

There are a few different ways to wear the topknot. Each way can make the look different altogether. Some are messy, some are tight. Easy diy Christmas treat

Mason Jars (obviously :) )

Small Baileys 

Powdered milk (1/2 cup each jar)

Unsweetened Coco powder  (1/2 cup each jar)

Sugar -1/2 cup

Salt - just a pinch 

Chocolate chips 1/2 cup each jar

Peppermint - 3/4 cup each jar

Marshmelllows - 1 cup each jar

I adjusted the recipe by adding a little more sugar and chocolate chips than what the original recipe called for (3/4) 3/4 a cup wasn't enough to make the layering look cute for the chocolate chips and peppermint, so I added more. 

Can we talk about...

How chic pantsuits can be when done right? I used to shy away from any type of jumpsuit getup, but times have changed. Whether full length pants or shorts,  jumpsuits are a refreshing break from dresses and everyday slacks.

                                                     

 About 99% of time when female celebrities hit the red carpet for events, we see them in beautiful dresses.
It is refreshing to see jumpsuits making a comeback, red carpet included. Here is Allegra Riggio wearing a jumpsuit by Adrianna Papell (courtesy of Pistol and Stamen). I love this look; I would have never thought to pair the fur peace with the suit, but I am liking it. Ps- the suit is more beautiful in person.
I met Allegra briefly when she came into the PR agency/showroom I work for. She seemed to be a full of life, beautiful soul. I loved how elegant the jumpsuit looked on her when she tried it on that day. Glad to see she enjoyed herself in her Adrianna Papell pieces.
