Wishlist- Miss Sixty booties

Winter is fading away, which means some of my favorite boots won't be worn for a while. That's ok though, because spring booties this year are cuter than ever. At the top of my list are these booties by Miss Sixty.

Favorite Perfumes

I love perfume. Everytime I walk by someone and they don't cough, I feel as though I have failed as a woman. Here's a list of my favorite perfumes.

Tip- apply perfume before you get dressed so it doesn't stain your fabric. For perfumes you won't be using for a while, store them in an air tight container and put them in the refrigerator- yes, that sounds weird, but it will preserve your perfume. Havent you ever had a perfume go bad? Total bummer. The fridge trick works.

Maternity style

Many pregnant women don't buy maternity clothes,  instead, they just buy their clothes in larger sizes. I think that is a brilliant idea; maternity clothes are not only expensive, but finding cute maternity clothing is difficult. Remember, cardigans, long sweaters, and tunic tops are great pieces to wear during pregnancy, especially during the transition period when you may feel like you just look like youve gained weight, but don't look pregnant yet.

Below are some pictures of celebrities who I thought had great maternity style. You don't have to have the same expensive brands as the celebrities,  you can still dress how you want without spending a fortune, just use pictures of outfits you like as inspiration. It will help you get a better vision of what pieces you want the next time you are shopping if you have a few pictures of outfits and styles you really like.

Posh is pregnant again- I dont have new pics of her pregnancy, but I do have some from her last pregnancy about 5 years ago.

Her look is chic, effortless, and she looks comfortable.

The print on Nicole Ritchie's dress does a great job minimizing her baby bump. She looks chic and feminine.

Good read for women- The Real Secrets Women Only Whisper

Lately I've been more into reading, which is really weird ,because I hadn't read a book front to back in years. Anyways, a friend of mine introduced me to The Real Secrets Women Only Whisper. I read excerpts from the book and was immediately intrigued. I am still very early in the book so I will keep you updated on how great it is.  I purchased this book through my Kindle, but it is available in every major bookstore. The cover is deceiving because it looks like something maybe only an older woman would enjoy, but I know plenty of young girls/women who love this book. It's a great read for women of all ages.

Fashion find of the week

Fashion Find of the week: Daisy Fuentes Stripe and lace top
I adore this Daisy Fuentes top I picked up at Kohl's the other day. I paid $23 for it, nice deal for such a cute top. The stripes are navy blue (Navy is soon to be the Justin Bieber of  color- expect to see it everywhere this spring and summer!) The lace mixed with the stripes gives this top a unique look.  Having more than enough dresses to last a lifetime, I was excited to pick up a cute top that can be dressed up or down. Today I wore it with skinny jeans and tall gray boots.

70's Chic     once again makes a comeback, and expect to see plenty of wide legged and flared pants. High waisted pants are popular again, which definitely has a 70s feel.
